good for a bachelor?
  The Order

Heath Ledger
Jon Laurimore
Giulia Lombardi
A rebellious, conflicted priest travels to Rome to investigate the strange death of his mentor. He discovers the death may have been called the Sin Eater.   I don't think Heath has done us wrong yet (except for that Four Feathers movie), so maybe we should trust in Heath. Could be good.
  Matchstick Men

Nicholas Cage
Sam Rockwell
Alison Lohman
Nick Cage plays a paranoid, phobia filled con artist with his partner Sam Rockwell, in the middle of a lucrative con when his teenage daughter arrives. Darn kids.   Seems like an artsy movie that'lltake some courage to get yourself there but is most likely a great plot movie that'll make you feel good. Darn Nick Cage.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Antonio Banderas
Johnny Depp / Salma Hayek

The story continues in this trilogy (Desparado, etc...) where El Mariarchi continues his quest to eliminate the drug kingpin, played by Willem Dafoe.   Ummm, guns, violence, girls - WITH style. Yes, this is a definite for the bachelor. Can't exactly cuddle a girl while someone gets blown away.
  Underworld

Kate Beckinsale
Michael Speedman
Set in the underworld of vampires and werewolfs, two warring species. Kate plays a warrious vampire who hunts werewolfs, who has fallen for one.   For the bachelor? Vampires, werewolfs, guns, girls - we vote yes. Yes, yes, yes.

Music - revisited, spotlighted, deserving

    Christina Aguilera
Sure she looks like she just graduated from the National Brothel Institute, but she's definitely got the music goods. Her music style has changed radically, but it’s more personal now. Whether or not all the songs are biographical or not, we get more insight into her soul. Songs like “Beautiful” emphasize self love and respect (even when people like me make fun of her); “Fighter” shows the strength that comes from being hurt in the past. These are certainly things that just about everyone can relate to.

Lauryn Hill
Even though we haven’t heard anything new from her in a while, Miss Hill’s last album “The Miseducation of Luaryn Hill” spotlighted her talents. She expresses her feelings on subjects like love, life, and community. For instance, on the single “Ex-Factor,” she sings about a bad relationship where she is giving all of her love and not getting any in return. Great lyrics.
Pink
Even though she got rid of the pink hair, (and after a little bit of crying) I still like her. Her Former Pinkness has gotten real personal on her second album “Missundaztood.” “Family Portrait” is a perfect example. In this song she talks about the angst of her family life as a child. It makes me want to reach out, put my arms around her, tell her it’s alright, and dye back her hair pink! Dang, I need to get over this.
Matchbox Twenty
I recently saw these guys in concert. And let me tell you, what a great show it was. Awesome! Lead singer Rob Thomas puts is soul into every song he sings. A perfect example is “Back to Good” from their first album “Yourself or Someone Like You.” You can just feel everything he’s singing about. He could be singing about armpit hair, and you got still feel the emotion. And this is no different live either. Great stuff.
