let's become innocent again. let's become comfortable with who we are again, like when we were kids and we didn't care about name brand clothes and what others thought of us.

i'm talking about waking up in the morning and staring at yourself in the mirror and really understanding who it is that's looking back at you. i'm talking about hanging out with your friends and not caring about anyone else around. i'm talking about looking at your girlfriend from afar and understanding that she knows you and loves you for who you really are. no false pretenses, no gimmicks, no lines.

this is the naked issue. i'm talking about getting to the core of you; the inner you that only comes out when you're alone. the side of you that you're not that secure with. well, i'm here to tell you that we want to see the real you.

When we first thought of the idea for the naked issue I was a little concerned. I was thinking, “Isn’t that the territory of those magazines that are under my…er…some people’s beds.” However, being the trooper that I am, I was ready to grin and bear it; I immediately started planning for the photo shoot! But then we started talking about it. “It’s not really gonna be about naked people,” Johnny told me. After talking about it, I realized that it was a great idea. Stripping away all the bells and whistles and getting to heart of matter (I feel a soft rock song coming on). You know, talking about things we’re either afraid to talk about or just don’t talk about much. So, that’s what we’re hoping to achieve with this issue. Enjoy.
